I need to have a plan.
Then I need to consider the plan for about a week.
Then I need to get up the courage to be excited about that plan.
Then I need Hubby to convince me again that it is a good plan.
Simply put: I am a stick-my-toe-in-the-water kinda gal. Then take about a half hour to get fully immersed.
But, Kentucky just advanced to the NCAA championship game. I have no time to consider. No time to fudge about the details. Only time to jump right in and...
...drive to New Orleans.
Nawlins. {for you country folk}
NOLA. {for you cool folk}
New Orleeeeeeeens. {for you not-so-cool folk)
So excuse me while I swallow back my urge to have a complete panic attack over this spur-of-the-moment trip. Our second roadtrip to New Orleans this month.
Time to throw all my "blue" into the suitcase and drive!
Balconies, anyone?
Bourbon St., anyone?
Beignets, anyone?
No time for all that this time -- GO BIG BLUE!

Oooh!!! Looks so fun!!!! {Hubby and I are going to take one trip this summer. Without baby. And we were contemplating between New York and New Orleans. I think NY won, but I definitely want to go to New Orleans someday!}
ReplyDeleteNew York is definitely my favorite...but the two are sooooo different you really need to get to both eventually. I am glad you are taking a solo trip! :D
